Looking at stuff like this makes you wonder what chemicals we currently use around us and how they may effect us in thirty years. What if something like windex, or Clorex wipes, really cause cancer and our hands are gonna fall off from using them. Kidding on the last part, but really I'm sure we currently use things that are going to have the same effect as DDT. Especially if the effects aren't even seen for twenty some odd years.
ReplyDeleteMost chemicals that we use in our houseold on daily basis are assumed safe. Every now and then someone comes up with danger signs. A chemical used in antibacterial products is a big suspect for autism cases in this country. The chemical companies stick with the basic priciple of innocent until proven guilty. They will not remove these chemicals from their product until unless there is a substancial proof against them.
